Cachoeira do Chuveiro - Horto RJ

A cachoeira fica há uns 15 minutos a pé desde a portaria do parque. Chegando na primeira cachoeira à beira da rua, vc precisa pegar uma trilha curta porém com dois pontos de escalada. A cachoeira sempre tem gente, muito volume de água tb.

Chuveiro Waterfall - larger Horto waterfall, shaped like a 'shower cabin' hence the name 'shower waterfall'.A paddling pool with water in front of the waterfall.Access to the waterfall is only for physically fit people and in proper non-slip footwear. The path is steep, rocky, requires a bit of climbing in several places and sticking to the chain.On the left of the waterfall there is another climbing path leading first to the 'crossroads' of the streams, then to the Jequitiba waterfall and then to the Transcarioca trail.

Beautiful waterfall in the jungle. Got to see some monkeys running around. The trail was a little difficult to navigate as the rocks are slippery, but there are ropes in place. Worthwhile place for a visit
