I ordered tickets from then a week ago - sent them my credit card details but have heard nothing from them personnally. They did post to my account that the order had expired but did not give a reason. I wrote and asked if I had to reorder but they do not reply. Is this the way to run a business?

DO NOT USE-I bought 4 x Sector 9 tickets (Reserved Seating for Tourists) fully paid in July 2015 for Monday 6th Feb 2016. Two days before the carnival told that no Sector 9 tickets were available and were offered Sector 8 - (Non Reserved Seating) and a 25R$ each refund. As this was so late there was no chance of getting other tickets had to accept Sector 8. Arranged to pick up from office which is in a very rough part of town. Roads were closed in preparation for the parades, taxies could not get close, had to walk, found the office - very dodgy. Joined other couples in same plight the owner spoke no English but we has a Portuguese speaker in our party, had a two hour stand up row resulting in Sector 8 tickets and a 60R$ each refund.Recommend no not use these people - best to buy tickets through the hotel or at least get them from another agency and get them delivered to your hotel as it is pretty impossible to get around at certain times during carnival and there are many areas that you do not want to be in!When we left the office we got mugged but hung onto the tickets!

I ordered the wrong tickets for carnival 2015 and to get them to answer emails was a nightmare despite their promise to get back in 48 hours. It was only after invoking the services of the State Tourist Office that I got a reply. When I did, everything was sorted out very efficiently and they were most helpful. Collecting tickets was easy.

Keep in mind that since Carnival is during the weekend, most places on the street will be closed. The building carnival service is in had its doors closed, so just walk in and tell the guard where you’re going. They’re in an office building which was pretty dark as I assume most of the lights were off because it was the weekend.But once you finally get to their office you’ll find all the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to help us with other information not even related the carnival. They kept reminding us about getting secret wallets to put under our shirts and how to keep safe. The one staff member even walked down to the street with us and allowed me to use his phone as a hotspot to call an Uber.They’re not the cheapest but I can whole heartedly recommend them as being reliable, especially as many of the online carnival ticket vendors seem to be ripping off unsuspecting tourists and disappearing with their money. I’ll certainly use Carnival Service again!

We bought our Carnival 2014 tickets in August 2013 already. We bought Sector 9 RESERVED seating tickets.On 26 Feb 2014 (2 days before we were supposed to collect our tickets) they informed us that no sector 9 tickets were available and that they would refund us BRL200 per ticket (2 tickets) and they moved us to sector 8.On collection day they seemed unorganized. We had to wait 20 minutes for them to get our refund and then they only gave us BRL200 instead of the BRL400. I had to ASK for the shuttle tickets we bought. We waited another 10 minutes for the remainder of the cash whereafter they told us they would refund us via the credit card I booked with. They promised it would be on the same day. Its been TWO months and 3 e-mails later with no refund and no response. DON'T USE THEM!

Just purchased tickets for carnival 2018 through Alan. It is our honeymoon and we decided to experience all of South America. Alan went above and beyond to make sure our experience is enjoyable especially for our first time knowing it is our honeymoon. He is an asset to the business and was so helpful we got awesome tickets and so excited for such a good price too. Alan informed us on which train to catch and gave us a map. After going to yesterday's parade with open box tickets we realised we wanted to experience closed box tickets for the final day. Alan made sure we got the best tickets possible with sector 6 closed box which includes food, open bar and transportation we are very excited. Outstanding customer service and very helpful

Bought my tickets in November 2017. Within a few hours i was informed that the tickets which I wanted were unavailable, so I asked for possible variants. I chose sector 5, got confirmation within an hour and got difference in value between original purchase and sector 5.When we arrived to Rio we had a time scheduled for pick up. Our tickets were ready and packed for us. We got map of Sambadrom and information which metro station to use and when to arrive.
