I have no words to describe the view! Lovely people and very polite. It’s safe up there, the people in the neighbourhood looks after one another. I felt safer up there than down at the beach In Ipanema and Copacabana. No matter what people say about Rio in a negative way, there is the best place in the world to visit.

Had the experience of a lifetime here. Got to live in a favela and see a whole other world. Great for adventure tourists. Owners are awesome. Breakfast was amazing. There are some risks staying here, but if you are an experienced traveller and love to see the world from a new perspective, this is the place.
