This was a wildly educational and informative tour. Make sure you have comfortable walking shoes because you will go all over the city learning about the history of people of color (mostly African influence on the country/city). Isabela was professional and kind, and so effing smart!! My uber was running behind, but she latiently waited for me with no isssues or attitude upon mt arrival. We went to multiple places throughout the city, I'd say within a 3 mile radius. Even though it was as hot as Satan's balls, I didn't mind because the experience was amazing, not only learning about history, but about the city in general and whatthe various parts had to offer. The learning was enlightening and the food was amazing! Isabella introduced me to a dish called Feijoada (I think) mmm mmm mmm. The tour was pretty customized, so I imagine everyone would have slighty different experience. The only disappointment was I didn't get a chance to hear Afro-Brazilian music or dance any Samba, but I think it was because of COVID, hopefully it won't be a problem next time when I bring my daughter. This is a must do for anyone interested in history and learning!!!

Traveller XP provided a tour that was one of the highlights of my birthday trip to Rio! Isabella was an amazing guide on this personalized tour. It was not like your usual tour. It was more like exploring Little Africa with a friend. We were able to learn about the amazing African history, taste traditional food (while supporting a black woman owned business), and experience behind the scenes of Carnival. There were some parts of the original tour that we were not able to see due to schedule conflicts; however, Isabella was able to provide us with another experience that was maybe even better than the original. She is such a passionate guide which made the tour much more meaningful and memorable.

Traveller XP, my friend, and I started communicating months prior to our trip to Rio and she exhibited so much clarity and options into all the activities we would be able to do when we arrive in Rio and she did not disappoint.Every day on our trip was better than the previous, we explored, hiked, visited local neighborhoods, ate a plethora of delicious food, had door to door service and had no hiccups along the way. It was a seamless and amazing trip to Rio de Janeiro.I felt as if I did so much more than the average traveler to Rio would've done and that's a thanks to Traveller XP. I highly recommend Traveller to anyone who is planning a trip to Rio!

Undoubtedly one of the nicest excursions I've ever experienced. Isabella is exceptionally talented, humorous, and professional. Isabella is more of a friend giving you in-depth history than a tour guide spouting information as you walk a typical trail. If you're seeking a more personalized guide, I definitely recommend her. The African Heritage tour with Traveller XP was hands down the favorite part of my trip to Brazil! Rio is filled with such rich black culture and Isabella was the best. She was super knowledgeable and provided a great mix of views, history, food and FUN!

Isabella was an awesome tour guide. Overall a great experience. She is very knowledgeable about Brazil’s history, economy and culture. 10/10 would recommend. She even takes your pics!

This is a must do excursion. We had a wonderful experience learning about African heritage. Our tour guide Isabella was friendly, amazing and knowledgeable. She takes great pictures!!!
