Climb in Rio

Mingo was a great guide! We climbed K2 and Sugarloaf, both times I had a great experience. Mingo knew both areas really well, which was handy when we were the 3rd party to arrive at Via Dos Italianos and were able to take a different route around the first party of three to a separate bolt station nearby. Then we made quick work to the top!

We climbed with Mingo on the Costao hike/scramble up Sugarloaf mountain in Rio. We had an awesome time - a real highlight of our trip in Rio.Mingo was very helpful in explaining the different routes to us and making sure the climb was right for us and our previous climbing experience.We were quite nervous beforehand because we hadn't done much climbing before this but Mingo put us at ease with his expertise, patience and help on the climbing section.Would really recommend Mingo and Climb in Rio to anyone - very professional and good value also.The Costao route is also amazing - great views and definitely suitable for beginner climbers as long as your okay with heights and have some base level of fitness. Mingo and Andrew were class acts. They asked the right questions, had the right answers, and were amazing guides through and through. We initially were going to climb Sugarloaf but after discussing the group's abilities we decided on Babilonia Hill instead. It was a great call and was such a good day we decided to book day 2 later in the week. I recommend experiencing multi pitch climbing to everyone and ClimbInRio is great option no matter what your ability level is.

Mingo was an excellent guide making us feel 100% safe all day, even though this was our first multi pitch climb. Definitively the highlight of our trip to Rio!

Amazing experience! Mingo and Andrew are both friendly and organised. Climbed my first multi-pitch with Andrew. Climbing was safe, calm and never felt rushed. Learnt a lot, and had great views from sugar loaf. Highly recommended!

Andrew was an amazing guide who does awesome work! Super welcoming to all different levels of climbers, and is a very experienced in the area. Brings all the equipment and expertise so you don't have to. Cannot recommend this organization enough for the best climbing in Rio!

Incredible experience! So much so that I booked a second tour with them the following weekend. Did the multi-pitch route and it was a great way to be introduced to top rope climbing. Very informative and extremely fun. Amazing views of sugarloaf and the Christ. Next time I am in Rio I will definitely be doing more tours through them. Could not recommend highly enough

Great climbing! I absolutely recommend climbing around Rio with them!First I climbed with Mingo the Babilônia Hill and learned a lot about multi-pitch. Since I had a great time, i decided to do another climb with Andrew at Cantagalo. Both times I felt secure, I learned a lot and had a lot of fun!
