O magno me ensinou a ficar em pé antes de eu entrar na água, depois foi fácil, a didática dele deixa o processo muito mais simples.

I would not recommend these guys. At first, I thought they were cool and able to help me learn. On the beach, they did the traditional pop up stuff. However, they were super unsafe, hurried, and absent in the water. The spot is crowded and I got ran over by two other surfers (both more experienced than me). The waves were too big for a beginner. I left after 30 minutes because it was so unsafe. Then, they were completely unapologetic. To provide some context, I kitesurf, open water swim, and do other adventurous activities so anyone without this experience should be careful. There are other people who are better able to give lessons than these guys.

I fully recommend learning to surf with ArpexSurfSchool. Magno, Daniel & Patrick make sure you enjoy your time on the waves and that you stay safe. They have all the equipment you need, and the price is super reasonable. They have been patient with me and taught me so much, in a short time frame. Whether you’re a complete beginner, or just want some refresher tips, definitely go here for surf classes. They’re awesome. 10/10

Estive no RJ POR 2 DIAS e contatei o Magno através do Google. Ele foi super atencioso ao marcar a aula, atento a qual nível de surf eu estava e as minhas solicitações de horário etc. A aula foi maravilhosa, ele é super simpático e atencioso. Ótima companhia. Recomendo muuuuito muuuito. A aula foi otima peguei ondas lindas e recebi toques valiosos para melhorar meu surf. RECOMENDO ELE PARA TODO MUNDO!MINHA TRIP MELHOROU 100% DEPOIS DA AULA, FEZ MINHA CABEÇA VALEU DEMAAAIS!

The guys are awesome! I had multiple lessons with them. If you want to improve fast, I highly recommend these guys. Incredibly friendly and easy going. I am English and my Portuguese isn’t great but was not an issue. If you haven’t surfed Arpoador you will love it!
