About 12 years ago when I was in my early 20's I went to South America on my first trip overseas. I got a tattoo from Guinho which meant a lot to me then. The whole experience was surreal & Guinho made a real effort to make it so. Even though we didn't speak each other's native tongue, the connection was deep. His son translated for us so there was no break in communication ever. The tattoo has held up marvelously (better than my others before or since). He is gentle when he needs to be and stern when he needs to be. Definitely a pleasurable experience getting tattooed by this man. Great work. Great pace. Very ardent. I cherish my time there and hope to go back there again one day to get another one.
