Six apartments in Santa Teresa, the heart of the historic center of Rio de Janeiro, simply furnished and equipped with every comfort and natural light in every apartment.Terrace overlooking the Cathedral and Arch of Lapa and common garden.pedestrian street and silent: very difficult thing to find in the center of Rio. Affordable.

Hello!My name is Tanem.I booked the Selaron Apartments in July-August 2016 and I really enjoyed staying there :DThe house has an excellent location: the very city center, in the low part of Santa Teresa - Rio's bohemian district, full of green and flowers, far from favelas. It takes only a few minutes to get to the famous Selaron Steps and Arcos da Lapa, the Lapa district with its numerous cafes, night clubs, shops and super markets. The nearest metro stations - Cinelândia and Glória - are a 10-15 minute walk.The street is a closed one, so I felt myself totally safe behind its iron gate.The street is very quiet and full of cats, birds and monkeys))The house is surrounded by trees and flowers. I got used to have breakfast on its enormous terrace. As it has lighting, I was able to read there at night or to enjoy evenings with my friends.The apartment is very comfortable, clean and stylishly decorated! It is equipped with all I needed.I totally recommend the Selaron Apartments!)

The place is very clean and feels spacious and organized. It is at the top of the Escadaria Selaron, so it is a good workout getting back home. However, it is possible to cab/uber to the top of the stairs. It is at the end of a quiet, safe street, and has a little feel of being in nature. The rooftop gives a great view of Lapa and other parts of the city. The internet is amazing, and the shower has good hot water, although it doesn't have the most pressure... but it is more than adequate. The only negative I'll say is that if you plan on doing a fair amount of cooking, the kitchen is a little small, and you'll have to buy a couple missing cooking essentials (which you can do for very cheap at a nearby store). The place is about a 15-minute walk to the nearest grocery store. The owners are very nice, as well as the building attendant.

Me hospedei por 4 meses e recomendo a experiência! É um local tranquilo, silencioso, com natureza ao redor e com um terraço ideal para pegar sol e apreciar a vista. É bom estar acostumado com caminhadas, pois o caminho exige que suba a escadaria Selaron (Não é nenhuma atividade difícil). Fica perto de pontos turísticos e de fácil acesso ao metrô.
