I stayed at the Manati Lodge on their 4 day, 3 night package. As a solo traveler I enjoyed the comfort of a private room with no single traveler surcharge. From the initial pickup in Manaus until the very end of the trip, the service was fantastic. The transportation, the people, the food, the vibe, the excursions and activities--all were high quality experiences. Did I mention the sumptuous food? It was so so good. The room had a small refrigerator and air conditioning (which I never used) and a fan, so all the bases are covered there to be comfortable.The lodge itself is comfy and wonderfully decorated with vibrant colors and instant sleep-inducing hammocks. The variety of activities from jungle treks, to the unforgettable pink dolphins, to the indigenous village visits were fun, informative and beautiful. Going out one night in a canoe to see the stars was also one of my favorite things we did. The timing and pacing of the activities was really nice--not too slow and not too fast.Throughout my stay I was with three French students who were fun to hang out with; as well as other guests who came for a shorter package and and new guests who arrived on the day we departed. It was fun to connect with the other guests, and the layout of the lodge makes it easy to create a sense of community with everyone. The guides, Deus and Wellington, were awesome and informative.Overall, my experience at The Manati Lodge was simply awesome. I felt I got a huge amount of value, but even better, I got the experiences in the Amazon Jungle that have been on my bucket list in spades. Between the past food, comfortable room, well-paced and varied activities, I had exactly the trip I hoped for. Thank you Manati Lodge family and staff for a wonderful jungle experience.

Je suis très étonné du peu de commentaires sur ce Lodge. Nous avons séjourné 4 jours et 3 nuits. Grâce à eux, ce séjour est mon meilleur souvenir de mes vacances au Brésil. Ce Lodge reste à taille humaine, j’ai compté seulement 8 bungalow. Nous étions les seuls clients, et nous avons eu l’agréable surprise d’avoir eu l’un de leur 2 bungalows « haut de gamme ». J’avais peur de m’ennuyer, mais je vous rassure, ce n’est jamais arrivé. Les journées sont parfaitement rythmées, Petit-déjeuner à 7:30, excursion à 8:30, puis retour pour déjeuner à 12:30, excursion d’après midi entre 15:30 et 18:30, Diner à 19:30, puis excursion de nuit à 21h jusqu’à 23:00.Notre piroguier connait parfaitement les lieux vu qu’il vit dans l’amazonie, ils ont tout fait pour rendre ce séjour inoubliable. Pêche aux Piranhas, « traque » des Caïmans, observation de faune et de la flore, coucher du soleil, c’était magique.La patronne et notre guide parlent un Français impeccable. Nous avons énormément apprécié lorsqu’elle nous a invité à partager une excellente bouteille de vin rouge Argentin. Les repas sont copieux, et très bon. J’adore le poisson et quel plaisir de découvrir des poissons inconnus !! ( Le pirarucu est simplement divin !!!). De la prise en charge à Manaus, jusqu’au retour, il n y a rien à redire tout s’est déroulé comme prévu et sans surprise. J’ai également trouvé le prix de la prestation très correct, pas le moins cher, mais bien moins cher que le fameux Amazon EcoPark jungle lodge, et sa situation géographique fait que vous êtes au milieu de nulle part, sans internet ni même de réseau GSM, sans moustiques également !! Cela est dû au PH acide du Rio Negro. Bref sans aucune hésitation, je recommande le Manati Lodge.
