Mediocre service behind a façade of luxuryVisited in July for a deep tissue massage. Positive points for cleanliness and well-decorated space, but the actual massage was below average, way below what would be expected for the price and for being located at a luxury hotel, so I left very disappointed. I’ve had massages in various countries and with different professionals (physiotherapists, chiropractors, naprapats, beauty professionals, Thai massage, Indian massage, Chinese), and this was just not ok. Owner/manager tried to either explain I wasn’t used to the pressure (got called out since I’m very familiar with massages) then shift to blame the masseuse for having “heavy hands”.The masseuse in place was inexperienced, and services are not adaptable to customer’s preferences (“we must follow the protocol sent to us from France”). Massage was performed on bones, leaving on bruises next to shoulder. Bruises are sometimes part of massages but where bones are close to skin.Owner/manager kept blaming the masseuse and did not offer a compensation or refund. I don’t recommend if you expect any real effect from a proper massage. If you want to relax and have some scented oils rubbed on you then go ahead.
